Andrew Fairchok and Rodney Kaeding, long time friends retired from different branches of service, came together to bring a taste and atmosphere of the past to Tacoma. 27 Years in the Army for Andy, and 20 Years in the Air Force for Rodney, Old Soldier gave them something to do together and became a great way to meet a lot of other service members (branch doesnt matter, we all wear the same colors deep down!)
Rodney has since retired from retirement, enjoying his time with his kids and grandkids. A long time friend of the distillery came on to help Andy continue making our fine Spirits. Joe Bennett runs the books, distillery operations, and can be caught giving enthusiastic tours on weekends! Served in the Air National Guard but also grew up with an active duty parent. Joe's wife Jackie can also be found often at the distillery too, helping out and making freeze dried goodies (seriously stop by and try some of this stuff!)

With a Traditional Corn Whiskey recipe from a distant relative during the Civil War our Whiskey is made the old fashion way with a unique flavor. Our spirits are not rushed or blended for high volume but rather small batch lots to maintain our high standards of full body taste in all our products.
